Electric hoist lifting chain operation precautions

1. Develop a good lifting habit and plan how to hang, lift and unload before lifting.
2. Prepare: Determine the weight and center of gravity of the object to be lifted. Read the attached documents carefully and mark the lifting point and weight data. Only after determining the center of gravity can the hook be hung in place.
3. The crane operator is to be informed of the weight of the object being lifted.
4. The crane hook should hang vertically above the center of gravity of the hanging object.
5. Lift lifting heavy objects not only to avoid damage to lifting objects, but also to prevent damage to the rigging itself. To avoid rotation or dropping, the following conditions should be observed:
a) One leg rigging, the lifting point should be located vertically above the center of gravity of the lifting object.
b) If it is a leg rigging, the hanging point should be on both sides of the lifting object, and the lifting point should be above the center of gravity.
c) If it is a three-legged and four-legged rig, the hanging point should be evenly located on the center of gravity of the lifting object and above the center of gravity of the suspended object. Pay attention to the lifting angle β (between the vertical line and the hanging leg): The larger the lifting angle, the smaller the lifting capacity. Lifting angles exceeding 60 degrees are absolutely not allowed.
Note: If lifting a non-uniformly distributed lifting object with a three-legged or four-legged Chain Rigging, the rated load of each leg should be calculated using the two-leg lifting object with the largest lifting angle. When the leg slings have different inclinations of the two legs, it is only necessary to lift the entire lifting object with one chain to calculate the rated load of each leg.
